Management and support
FortiAP access points need a controller: they are managed by the WLAN controller built into a FortiGate, or by FortiEdge Cloud. Use of the 6 GHz band is subject to regional regulatory approval. FortiCare Premium support (FC-10-P432G-247-02-DD) is quoted separately for a 1, 3 or 5 year term. We confirm the model, region, controller and support term in your quote.
Compatible external antennas
The FortiAP 432G uses N-type external antenna connectors (9 total). Choose Fortinet antennas with N-type connectors:
