The mid-range Cisco Secure Firewall 3100 Series (formerly Firepower 3100) is a family of threat-focused security appliances for use cases from the Internet edge to the data center and private cloud.
Software is selected at order: choose Threat Defense (Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense / FTD, part number FPR3140-NGFW-K9) or ASA (Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance software, part number FPR3140-ASA-K9) using the Software option above.
